The two lines are cut from a single sheet, not soldered together, so the pendant hangs as a single shape, with the Hebrew sitting flush under the English rather than dangling as a second charm.
That is what keeps a two-line nameplate from looking like two necklaces worn at once.
Send the name in either language, and I will set the other one.
Hebrew letters have no capitals and sit on a different baseline from Latin ones, so the two lines are drawn to the same visual weight rather than the same letter height.
That is a design decision made by hand for each order, which is why this cannot be generated automatically.
925 sterling silver is the base in all three colors, so the gold and rose gold are plating over solid silver rather than over brass or steel.
It suits a Bat Mitzvah or Bar Mitzvah, an aliyah, a conversion, a naming, Hanukkah, or a birthday for someone who carries a Hebrew name they rarely see written.

CHOOSING A LENGTH

This pendant is 32 mm wide and reads as a line of text, so it wants room to sit flat.
16" sits on the collarbone and is the shortest length that suits it.
18" falls just below and is the most common adult choice.
20" and 22" sit lower on the chest and layer well under a shorter chain.
14" is a child's length and is the right choice for a Bat Mitzvah gift to a twelve year old.

This necklace puts both on the same piece of silver, which is why it tends to be bought at the moments when the two names meet: a Bat Mitzvah, an aliyah, a conversion, a wedding.

A: Yes. Send the name in English, and I will set the Hebrew and show you a preview before cutting.
Q: Can I send the Hebrew myself?
A: Yes, and I will use exactly what you send. Hebrew names are often spelled more than one way, so if the spelling matters, give me the one you want.
Q: Is the gold solid gold?
A: No. It is 24K gold plating over 925 sterling silver. The silver underneath is solid.
Q: Will the plating wear off?
A: Plating is a surface layer, and it thins over years of daily wear. Keep it away from perfume, chlorine and cleaning products. If it ever wears through, what shows underneath is sterling silver, not base metal.
Q: Does sterling silver tarnish?
A: It can darken over time, which is normal for 925. A soft polishing cloth brings it back.
Q: How long a name will fit?
A: Longer names simply make a wider pendant. Send me the name, and I will tell you the finished width before you order.
Q: Can I have two different names, one per line?
A: Yes. Message me before ordering and tell me what goes on each line.
