A fingerprint is the one mark that belongs to exactly one person and to nobody else who has ever lived.
Engraved in metal, it remains legible for decades, longer than the paper or the phone photo it came from.
The message on the inside faces the skin.
A name, a date, a line only the two of you understand: it is there every day, and nobody else sees it.
Sterling silver is the base under every finish.
The gold and rose gold versions are 925 silver plated in 24K gold or rose gold, so the weight and the strength are identical across all three colors.
It is worn for an anniversary, a birth, a milestone, and very often for someone who is no longer here.

Upload a clear photo of the fingerprint, taken on white paper with a dark ink pad or a stamp pad.
Then type the message you want hidden on the inside.

Keep the inside message to about 25 characters so it stays readable at this size.
Engraving is permanent and cannot be changed once the piece is made.
Please check the spelling and the date before ordering.
HOW TO GET A GOOD FINGERPRINT

Press the finger onto an ink pad, then firmly onto plain white paper once.
Do not roll the finger sideways, and do not press the same spot twice.
Photograph it straight on in daylight, filling the frame with the print.
If the print is faint or smudged, I will tell you before I start, and you can send another.

Q: Is the gold solid?
A: No. The gold and rose gold versions are 925 sterling silver plated in 24K gold or rose gold.
The base metal is sterling silver in all three finishes.
Q: Will the plating wear off?
A: Plating wears off with time and contact.
Remove the bracelet before showering, swimming, exercising and sleeping.
Keep it away from perfume, lotion and cleaning products.
Q: Can you work from a print taken at a funeral home or hospital?
A: Yes. Those prints are usually clear. Send a straight-on photo of it and I will tell you before I start whether it will reproduce well.
Q: What if I only have a faint print?
A: Send it anyway. I will look at it first and tell you honestly whether it will work, before any money is spent on production.
Q: How long can the hidden message be?
A: About 25 characters stay comfortably readable. Longer is possible, but the letters get smaller.
Q: Which chain length should I choose?
A: Measure the wrist with a strip of paper and add half an inch. 7" fits most women, 8.5" fits most men.
Q: Will the fingerprint wear away?
A: The engraving is cut into the metal, not printed on it. Normal wear will not remove it.

The chain is smaller than I thought it would be and it’s a little long (my fault for not measuring correctly). It is pretty, but I don’t think I would recommend it as it is very hard to get it clasped together.
