Each letter is engraved into a flat, polished face, and the two faces sit side by side on the finger.

The band does not close.
Both ends are flattened into small rectangular faces, each engraved with a single letter.
They come to rest beside each other at the top of the finger, with a narrow gap between them.
That gap is what makes the ring adjustable.
A gentle press with the fingers opens or closes it by about half a size.
Sterling silver is the base under every finish.
The gold and rose gold versions are 925 silver plated in 24K gold or rose gold.
The weight, feel, and strength of the band are identical across all three colors.
Silver holds an engraved edge sharply and takes a polish that keeps the letters readable.
That matters when the whole design rests on two small letters.
It suits an anniversary, a promise, a graduation, a milestone birthday, or any day when two names belong on one hand.

GETTING THE SIZE RIGHT
──────────────────────
Measure the finger you will actually wear it on.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest, and measure over the knuckle rather than at the base.
Because the band is open, it forgives about half a size in either direction.
If you fall between two sizes, take the smaller one and ease it open.
If you are buying as a surprise and cannot measure, choose US 7 for a woman and US 10 for a man.
Those are the most ordered sizes, and the open band absorbs a small error.

This ring keeps both letters a few millimeters apart, on a band that never quite closes.
It says what a matching pair of rings says, without asking anyone to wear one.

Q: Is the gold solid?
A: No. The gold and rose gold versions are 925 sterling silver plated in 24K gold or rose gold.
The base metal is sterling silver in all three finishes.
Q: Will the plating wear off?
A: Plating wears off with time and contact.
Remove the ring before showering, swimming, exercising and sleeping.
Keep it away from perfume, lotion and cleaning products.
That is the difference between a year and several.
Q: How many characters fit?
A: Two, one per face. The design is built for exactly two letters.
Q: Can the ring be resized?
A: It does not need to be resized in the usual way.
The band is open and adjusts by hand across roughly half a size in either direction.
For a larger change, order the correct size rather than forcing the band.
Repeated bending weakens metal.
Q: Can I have numbers or symbols instead of letters?
A: The faces are cut for single letters.
Message me before ordering if you want something else, and I will tell you whether it will fit.
Q: Is it comfortable for everyday wear?
A: Yes. The band is 1.2 mm thick and 6 mm wide, flat against the finger.
There are no claws or raised settings to catch on clothing.
Q: Do you make a matching version?
A: Yes. Message me, and I will set up a second listing with the initials reversed.
Each of you then wears the other's letter first.

Because every personalized item is handmade specifically for each customer, I do not accept returns or refunds for custom or personalized orders.
