The hand is cut as an outline rather than a solid plate, so the pendant stays light and the stone reads as the one solid thing in it.
The birthstone hangs from its own jump ring instead of being set into the metal, which is why it catches light from a different angle every time you move.
Sterling silver is the base under every finish.
The gold and rose gold versions are that same silver with a plated layer over it, so the weight and the feel are identical in all three.

Type the birth month you want, written as a month.
Example: October
The stone for that month is set in the hand. October is tourmaline pink, December is a deep blue, May is green, and so on through the year.
If you would rather choose by color than by month, type the color instead and I will match it.
One stone per necklace.

14 inches sits at the base of the throat and is usually for a child.
16 inches sits at the collarbone.
18 inches is the most ordered length and falls just below it.
20 inches sits on the chest, above a shirt neckline.

A HAND AND A MONTH

The Hamsa is worn for protection, and it is old enough that nobody agrees whose it is first.
Jews call it the hand of Miriam, Muslims call it the hand of Fatima, and the same shape turns up in North Africa and the Levant long before either name.
Adding a birth month narrows all of that down to one person.
That is why it is bought for a daughter, for a new mother, and for anyone starting something that feels worth protecting.

Q: Is there an evil eye on this necklace?
A: No. The Hamsa is an open outline and the birthstone hangs inside it. There is no eye motif, so if you are looking for the blue and white eye this is not that piece.
Q: Is the gold solid gold?
A: No. The base is 925 sterling silver in all three finishes, with 24K gold or rose gold plated over it. The silver version is the one that stays as it is indefinitely.
Q: Will the plating wear off with time?
A: Yes, plating is a surface layer and it wears with daily use, faster on skin that runs acidic.
Q: Are the stones real gemstones?
A: They are faceted birthstone crystals, cut and bezel set, not mined gemstones. That is what keeps the necklace at this price.
Q: Can I have more than one stone?
A: Not on this pendant. It holds one stone. Message me if you want a piece with several birthstones and I will point you to the right one.
Q: How big is the pendant?
A: It reads as a small everyday pendant rather than a statement piece, about the width of a thumbnail including the hand.
Q: How do I look after it?
A: Keep it dry, and away from perfume, lotion and cleaning products. Wipe it gently with a soft jewelry cloth after wearing. Silver darkens with air, which is normal and polishes back.

Because every personalized item is handmade specifically for each customer, I do not accept returns or refunds for custom or personalized orders.

International orders are prepared and dispatched from my workshop first.
